Founded in 1994, the mission of SUNRISE International kindergarten is to inspire children to become life-long learners, problem solvers, creative thinkers and global citizens. Therefore we focus on stimulating each child’s innate craving for knowledge by introducing and nurturing core learning competencies and interests. The core skills needed for a successful, productive life are learned and enlarged before the age of 6. Learning, communication, emotional and interpersonal skills are developed during these early years. Therefore we focus on stimulating each child’ potential. Education is both enjoyable and effective when teachers recognize students' natural curiosity and desire to learn. To face the big need of school for French and French speaking children in Shanghai downtown, our French Section Le Petit Lotus Bleu is officially recognized by the French National Education Ministry since 2008, and partner of AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad).
