Sunrise provides children a well-balanced development of their abilities, exploratory skills, communication skills, and social skills, as well as shaping their emotions and perceptions. Sunrise offers STEAM courses, music initiation classes, outdoor sports classes and other courses, covering toddlers (18 months old) to kindergarten classes (6 years old), covering language, phonics, reading and writing, thinking and logic, science and general exploration, art and creativity, health and physical fitness and other diversified international curricula. We guide children to actively explore and actively participate in the multicultural learning environment to promote the all-round development of the children, and enable them to learn more in the areas of language skills, exploration skills, communication skills, physical fitness, and other skills and abilities. Education is both enjoyable and effective when teachers recognize students' natural curiosity and desire to learn. 

Created in 2006 to face the big need of school for French and French speaking children in Shanghai downtown, our French Section Le Petit Lotus Bleu is officially recognized by the French National Education Ministry since 2008, and partner of AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). We welcome the children from our Toddlers / TPS class (from 20 months old) to Grande Section (6 years old) and provide them a French/Chinese bilingual teaching of the French national curriculum while remaining open to the language and culture of China, our host country.An initiation to English language is also provided with two 30-minutes English sessions per week. All our French Teachers are experienced and obtained official teaching certificate while our Chinese teachers all have the local Kindergarten Teacher diploma. Throughout their journey at Petit Lotus Bleu, each child is accompanied by our team which helps them to better understand their entry into socialization, learn to live together, flourish, progress and become a student in order to be ready for elementary school!

The organization of regular events is also part of our curriculum to discover not only the Chinese traditions, culture and celebrations (CNY, Lantern Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, etc) but also the international ones (Halloween, Christmas, Carnival, etc). It is also the opportunity to invite the parents to be also part of them and come to school. We also organize special events along the school year that will be related with specific activities in class: Book week, Earth Day, Sports Day, etc.
